(Dark
hair with dark brown eyes, and pale to dark skin)
Your
darker neutrals can be worn together, or you can wear a darker colour with
ivory, just keep the darker colour nearest to your face. Stay away from wearing
pale colours by themselves. When pairing pale colours with a darker neutral, keep
the lighter colour away from your face, just be careful where you wear these
colours – they generally make things look larger.

For blue,
stick to the dark shades from periwinkle to royal blue. No pastels or powder
blue shades.

Same
goes for the purple shades, plum and dark aubergine is best.
Red
is your best friend, choose true red, scarlet, raspberry shades and burgundy.

For
pinks, blush pink, salmon and rose is the better choices.

Orange is not so great, but mustard works well – especially
if your skin is not too pale. Lime green also works well for you.
For
sea green/blue colours, stick to the darker shade once again. Emerald turquoise,
aqua and Chinese blue.
For
makeup, you look best with darker eyes. Choose dark colours for eye shadow and
eyeliner, like dark mocha shades, aubergine, and deep shades of teal and smoky
greys. If you prefer something more natural, use mocha shades with apricot on
your eyes. Blush can be a peachy rose shade and lips can be anything from
tomato to brick brown shades, or use a wine coloured lip gloss for an easy
go-to option.
Remember,
the darker your skin, the darker your makeup colours need to be – so never
purchase makeup in shades like shimmery pastels and too light silvers and white
– this will just look odd.
The next
blog will be about the COOL colouring group – then we’ll be finished with the
