Wear longer length shirts and tops, also short dresses worn as tunics over leggings - with flat knee high boots, to help visually shorten your legs.
Add a structured jacket with dramatic angles to break up the long line of your body (the picture attached below of the red jacket is a perfect example).
Use bold patterns in your tops, carry an over-sized handbag or wear chunky statement jewellery. This draws attention away from your height and towards the exaggerated items.
Choose horizontal stripes over vertical ones, avoid pin stripes as this will make you look even taller. If wearing a shirt or dress with horizontal stripes, belt it in at the waist to avoid looking too wide (see photo attached below).
Don't wear high heeled or pointy toed shoes, rather stick to flats shoes with a rounded front and added detail eg. a buckle, a flower or a different colour at the toe (see attached picture) - this also helps your feet not look too long. If you do choose shoes with a small heel, maybe consider getting ones with a strap over the instep, to create a shorter looking leg.
Pick clothes with larger details, wide lapels, bigger buttons etc. Delicate details like small collars, will make your body look too large in contrast.
Wear wide leg trousers, this is a very flattering & slimming look on a taller figure.
Wear your skirts & dresses just under your knee, and your shorts at 3/4 lenghth (mid-calf).
